Job summary

PrimeCare Medical is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to work in the Berks County Jail System in Leesport, PA. Positions include full-time evening shift and part-time night shift, with on-site duties and supervision by an RN.

The LPN will provide nursing care, maintain electronic medical records, and ensure privacy and security of information while complying with state and federal laws. Prior correctional health care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in Pennsylvania.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow protocols.
• Experience in correctional health care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care.
• Maintain and secure electronic medical records.
• Record, monitor, and report patient status and medications.
• Manage controlled substances, narcotics, and sharps per laws.
