Job summary

PrimeCare Medical Inc. is seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join the team at the Chester County Prison in West Chester, PA. The role is full-time, with day or night shifts, and includes nursing care under RN supervision and EMR documentation.

You will conduct sick calls, document findings, manage controlled substances logs, and contribute to the care plan. A 2-week orientation and on-the-job training are provided.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• Ability to multi-task and work under supervision.
• Experience in correctional health care delivery system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care under supervision of an RN.
• Maintain and update electronic medical records and ensure security.
• Record, retrieve and file medical information in the inmate/patient chart.
• Maintain records for controlled substances, narcotics and sharps as required by law.
