Job summary

Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush, CO is seeking a registered nurse to oversee neighbor care on the evening and night shifts. You will supervise CNAs, administer medications, and ensure safe, patient-centered care in a faith-based setting.

The role requires Colorado RN licensure, strong clinical skills, and the ability to train new staff. You will participate in care planning, document outcomes, and collaborate with the nursing leadership to maintain quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved Licensed or Registered Nursing School.
• Current Colorado RN license.
• Able to supervise care given by nurse aides.
• Understands Eden Alternative Principles and can lead person-directed care.

Responsibilities

• Makes rounds on neighbors at start and end of shift and as needed.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per Nurse Practice Act.
• Supervises and assists in care by auxiliary personnel.
• Informs DON or nurse supervisor of health or safety concerns.
• Records observations and reports symptoms, reactions and progress accurately.
• Assists with orientation and training of new personnel and with periodic evaluation of staff.
• Maintains safe, clean, and compliant environment and ensures equipment is functional.
• Delegates duties safely and within scope of practice.
• Maintains HIPAA privacy and uses clinical documentation systems.
