Covenant Village Care Center in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time night shift. You will provide direct patient care under RN or physician supervision in a long-term care setting, administering medications and monitoring residents’ health.

Responsibilities include vital signs, personal care, documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure safety, comfort, and well-being for residents.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited LPN or LVN program.
• Current and active LPN license.
• Healthcare or long-term care experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and assisting with personal hygiene.
• Monitor residents' vital signs and report abnormalities.
• Assist with feeding, dressing, and mobility, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Follow care plans and provide care according to residents’ needs.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date patient care documentation and report changes to the supervising nurse.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals for cohesive care.
• Communicate with residents and families; participate in care conferences.
• Follow infection control protocols and PPE guidelines.
• Advocate for residents and provide emotional support.
• Promote a compassionate environment and residents’ well-being.
