Job summary

Caterpillar, Lafayette, IN, is seeking a Team Lead for the 3rd shift (10:30 pm–6:30 am). You will supervise team members, coordinate workflow, and oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, promoting safety and continuous improvement.

• Warehouse Management: direct warehousing activities and inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, hoists) and perform warehousing tasks.
• Lead meetings with multifunctional team to track performance and priorities.
• Coordinate with logistics and carriers for expedited shipments and manage aged inventory.
• Lead problem-solving events and manage training matrix for team flexibility.
• Track quality metrics and meet safety, quality, velocity, and cost goals.
