Job summary

Purity Dairy is seeking a Logistics Support Specialist for the 3rd shift. The role involves handling a range of administrative logistics tasks, updating databases, supporting the transportation and distribution teams, and coordinating with customers, haulers, drivers, and internal departments to resolve issues.

You will also track vehicle records, assist with fleet maintenance parts, process orders, and prepare packing lists, while ensuring timely shipping and accurate inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in logistics, transportation, warehouse, distribution, or related environment.
• Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and ad-hoc tasks including administrative logistics, customer service, purchasing, and reporting.
• Track and maintain vehicle records with supervisors (overweight permits, fuel cards, registrations, inspections).
• Support fleet maintenance with parts inventory and shop stock control.
• Review orders for proper coding and approvals; process orders and packing; track shipments and ETAs.
• Prepare purchase orders; order supplies; monitor inventory levels and generate reports.
• Verify incoming/outgoing shipments and update records in systems.
