Salm Partners seeks a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate to manage material handling, inventory control, and loading/unloading activities for production lines in a GMP/USDA-compliant environment.

Responsibilities include daily inventory walks, accurate data entry, and adherence to safety policies while coordinating with production and logistics teams on inbound and outbound shipments.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED is normally required.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Experience in material handling, shipping and/or receiving in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills are required.
• Ability to read and interpret packing slips, bills of material, safety rules, and operating manuals.
• Basic computer proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Sage ERP or similar systems is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Follow safety rules and company policies.
• Maintain daily inventory by walking production areas and noting supply needs.
• Document Product Transfer Log for refrigerated/edible materials and finished goods.
• Enter inbound shipment data into the Blend Receiving Log.
• Unload inbound shipments and deliver products to correct locations.
• Perform raw material inspections and verify items against packing slips.
• Log batch, date, quantity and lot information during receiving.
• Ensure proper paperwork accompanies shipments and stage product for production lines.
• Operate equipment safely and monitor forklift operations.
