Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role supports the specialty population on the unit with emphasis on teamwork and compassionate care.

Requirements include a NH LNA license, BLS certification, and high school diploma or GED; an LNA education certificate and competency testing may be required. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Proof of LNA Education Certificate and competency testing results.
• Ability to work as part of a patient-care team.

Responsibilities

• Performs activities of daily living and personal care under RN supervision.
• Performs technical skills/procedures for physical, mental health and social needs under RN guidance.
• Documents care provided and reports patient observations to the RN.
• Adheres to safe patient handling policies.
• Demonstrates time management and maintains clean, stocked patient areas.
• Receives delegated work respecting the five rights of delegation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Serves as a preceptor for new employees.
