Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses. Responsibilities include measuring vitals, specimen collection, bedside tests, and reporting observations to RNs.

The role supports nutrition, mobility, and safety within the unit. Ideal candidates will have an LNA certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and up to 3 months of experience in an acute care setting.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed Nursing Assistant with LNA certification and BLS.
• 3 months LNA experience preferred in an acute care setting.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; nursing assistant program graduate.

Aufgaben

• Assist in measuring and recording patient data (height, weight, vital signs).
• Support specimen collection, preparation, and preservation for lab testing.
• Perform bedside laboratory tests and document patient responses.
• Observe and report patient conditions to the RN, noting deviations in vital signs or care responses.
• Assist with nutritious feeding and tray distribution to meet dietary needs.
• Help transport patients within the facility and support transfers and ambulation.
