Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, mobility, and toilet needs. You will take vital signs, observe and report information, and support the care team.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, BLS and LNA-NH credentials, and 1–2 years clinical experience or 1 year as a Nursing Assistant. It is an onsite position with night shifts and a pay range of about $19.47–$31.09 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• BLS Certification is required; LNA in NH is required.
• 1–2 years clinical/medical office/managed care experience preferred, or 1 year Nursing Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record vital signs and weights per policy.
• Provide hands-on patient care and nursing assistances.
• Grooming and personal care of patient.
• Assist with feeding and hydration per care plan.
• Report changes in patient's condition to charge nurse or supervisor.
