Wiregrass Construction seeks a Liquid Asphalt Terminal Operator for the third shift (9:00pm–4:30am) to oversee the flow of asphalt, perform daily inspections, and ensure safety and compliance. The role involves transfers, load validation, and documentation such as BOLs and test reports.

Prior asphalt terminal experience is a plus, and Excel proficiency is preferred for data tasks. The position requires 12-hour shifts, standing for long periods, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Previous experience in an Asphalt Terminal is considered a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for accurate data management and analysis.
• Works effectively both as part of a team and independently, adapting to the needs of the situation.
• Hours: 9:00pm-4:30am.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all safety protocols and wears PPE.
• Maintains accurate records of daily inventory levels in tanks.
• Collaborates with the Lab Technician to verify and maintain product certifications.
• Executes transfers of liquid asphalt from tank to tank, ensuring smooth operations.
• Validates load information and safely loads tankers with the appropriate liquid asphalt.
• Creates detailed and accurate Bill of Ladings (BOL’s) and Bituminous Material Test Reports.
• Conducts daily inspections on equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
• Performs minor repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Receives and inspects incoming liquid asphalt railcars, ensuring quality and safety.
• Safely unloads railcars when necessary.
