Job summary

Wiregrass Construction is seeking a Liquid Asphalt Terminal Operator to oversee the flow of materials within the facility and ensure compliance with safety standards. Daily tasks include inspections, minor repairs, and operating tasks related to liquid asphalt handling.

The role reports to the Terminal Manager and requires flexibility for 12-hour shifts and weekends. Prior asphalt terminal experience is a plus, with proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to analyze tasks and prioritize safety.
• Reliable transportation for regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the flow of liquids and ensures compliance with safety and certification requirements.
• Conducts daily equipment inspections and performs minor repairs to minimize downtime.
• Receives, inspects, and unloads liquid asphalt railcars following safety procedures.
• Maintains records, validates load information, and creates Bills of Lading and test reports.
