Job summary

Ergon Inc. is hiring a Facility Operator for the night shift at the Saginaw, TX facility. You will work with a team to produce and load asphalt oil, ensuring quality and safety in outdoor conditions.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic math, and the ability to follow written instructions. Proficiency in Excel is preferred, with some weekends and OT possible depending on season.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in Excel preferred.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Outdoor work in all seasons and weather.

Responsibilities

• Assist with testing products in the lab.
• Input quality specifications and batch data into reports.
• Sample product quality.
• Load and unload trucks and railcars.
• Perform minor maintenance on equipment in the plant.
• Attend daily production/quality/EHS meetings.
• Maintain facility housekeeping and safety practices.
• Communicate with teammates, management, and customers.
