Job summary

Publix Super Markets, Inc. is seeking a full-time, on-site Production Associate to efficiently operate all line equipment, troubleshoot process problems, and lead production team members to meet the schedule while maintaining GMP-compliant practices.

Candidates must be 18+, able to lift 50 pounds, work any shift including nights and weekends, and demonstrate teamwork, strong math and effective communication. A strong attendance record and willingness to help across areas are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have basic mechanical skills.
• General knowledge of machine operation.
• Ability to troubleshoot process problems on assigned equipment.
• Demonstrate leadership in guiding production associates on the line.
• Commitment to GMPs and safe working practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Good math skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• efficiently operating all equipment on the line
• troubleshooting process problems on all assigned equipment
• leading all production team members on the line
• ensuring correct usage of raw materials, labels etc.
• coordinating all breaks and lunches for associates working on the line
• leading associates to meet the production schedule
• cross-training all production associates
• encouraging associate to adhere to all safety guidelines and practices
• maintaining clean equipment in area in accordance with GMPs
• completing all necessary paperwork required by the position and
• other duties as assigned.
