Job summary

Danos, LLC is seeking a Night Shift Lease Operator to oversee safe and efficient operation of oil and gas wells, production equipment, and separation systems. You will monitor process conditions, perform routine maintenance, and help optimize production while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities include data logging, coordinating field operations, issuing permits, and supporting new facility startups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as Lease Operator or Production Operator preferred.
• Experience with oil and gas production equipment.
• Ability to read and record production data and operate monitoring systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willing to work rotating night shifts and emergency callouts.
• Must pass background, drug test, MVR, agility, and fitness for duty.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain wells and separation equipment.
• Inspect wells, tanks, meters, valves and production equipment.
• Monitor pressures, temperatures, flow rates, and tank levels.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform basic maintenance.
• Maintain production reports and gauge sheets.
• Coordinate oil sales, saltwater hauling, and field operations.
• Assist with new facility startups and procedures.
• Issue safe work permits and conduct gas testing.
• Winterize equipment and seasonal prep.
• Communicate changes to supervisors.
• Follow environmental and safety procedures.
