Job summary

Danos, LLC is seeking a Night Lease Operator III to safely operate and monitor wells, processing units, and related facilities in Texas. You will handle startup activities, safety procedures, and maintenance preparation for oil, gas, and water separation systems, with emphasis on environmental and process safety.

The role requires on-site presence, rotating shifts, and ability to operate SCBA and field equipment, with a focus on efficient and compliant operations across facilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Previous experience in a closely related position is required.
• Must be able and willing to work on a rotating shift.
• Must be available for call out as situation dictates.
• Ability to interact effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
• Ability to maintain, operate and repair surface equipment associated with the production of Oil & Gas.
• Computer proficient with good written and oral communication skills.
• Must be physically able to lift > 50 lbs and climb ladders / stairways.
• Must be able to use a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and other safety detectors and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for personal safety and the safety of co-workers.
• Primary operations contact for facilities; reviews data and schematics to optimize process.
• Inspects and monitors equipment; records data and samples.
• Issues Safe Work Permits and assesses safety risks.
• Performs gas testing to ensure safe maintenance.
• Monitors gauges, temperature, pressure, flow, and equipment parameters.
• Adjusts process parameters to maintain product specifications.
• Coordinates oil sales and salt water hauling as necessary.
• Maintains accurate gauge sheets and records production changes.
• Checks valve positions and performs basic equipment maintenance.
• Communicates with Production Foreman about process conditions.
• Performs winterization and equipment summarization for efficiency.
• Monitors field equipment with electronic test equipment.
• Inspects safety valves, extinguishers, hoses, and safety gear.
• Participates in continuous improvement and environmental compliance.
