The position requires strong problem solving, independent work, and the ability to respond to emergencies. Candidates should have prior oilfield experience and be physically capable of lifting, climbing, and handling equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience operating and maintaining oil and gas production equipment and separation facilities.
• Strong reading/recording of production data and ability to work with computer-based monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain oil and gas wells, separation equipment, and production facilities.
• Conduct routine inspections of wells, tanks, meters, valves, and production equipment.
• Monitor pressures, temperatures, flow rates, tank levels, and chemical injection systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Monitor production data using computer systems and maintain accurate production reports and gauge sheets.
• Coordinate oil sales, saltwater hauling, and other field operations.
• Assist with new facility startups, equipment preparation, and operational procedures.
• Issue safe work permits, conduct gas testing, and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Perform equipment winterization and seasonal preparation.
• Communicate production changes, equipment concerns, and maintenance needs to supervisors.
• Follow environmental and safety procedures to prevent spills, emissions, and operational hazards.
