Danos, LLC is seeking a Lease Operator to safely operate wells, processing units, and production facilities in a field setting. You will monitor operations, perform routine inspections, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards while coordinating with field personnel.

The role requires experience in oil and gas production, knowledge of separation processes, and the ability to work rotating shifts. Valid driver's license and physical capability are essential for field duties.

Qualifications

• 2+ yrs Lease Operator experience.
• Valid US Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in oil and gas production operations or a related field.
• Knowledge of oil, gas, and water separation processes and production equipment.
• Ability to operate, maintain, and repair surface production equipment.
• Experience with work permitting systems, gas testing, and process safety practices.
• Strong computer proficiency and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and respond to call-outs as required.
• Strong interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds and climb ladders and stairways.
• Must meet background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain wells, processing units, and production facilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities.
• Issue Safe Work Permits and perform gas testing for maintenance activities.
• Monitor production processes including tank gauging, meter readings, and product sampling.
• Record and maintain accurate production and operational data.
• Monitor critical operating parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow rates, and levels.
• Adjust process conditions to optimize production and maintain product specs.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and identify equipment abnormalities, leaks, or overheating.
• Perform basic maintenance such as lubrication, filter changes, valve adjustments, and cleaning.
• Inspect and maintain safety equipment including fire extinguishers and SCBA.
• Coordinate oil sales and saltwater hauling activities.
• Maintain company vehicles and field equipment in safe condition.
• Support facility startup, winterization, and seasonal readiness.
• Use handheld devices and computerized systems to monitor field operations.
• Follow environmental policies to minimize emissions and spills.
• Communicate updates to supervisors and team members.
• Participate in continuous improvement and skills development.
