Job summary

Crosby Energy Services seeks an experienced Lease Operator for operations in the Pecos / Fort Stockton area, on a 14/14 night schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong production background and oversee daily operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of oil and gas production equipment.

This role requires self-motivation to work independently, maintain safe operations, and manage assigned production routes and facilities while adhering to safety and environmental procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Lease Operator experience.
• Strong knowledge of oil and gas production operations.
• Experience with gas lift systems required.
• Experience with ESP systems required.
• Ability to troubleshoot production and equipment issues independently.
• Experience with production reporting and field documentation.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain oil and gas production facilities.
• Perform daily well checks and production rounds.
• Operate and troubleshoot gas lift systems.
• Monitor and maintain ESP (Electric Submersible Pump) systems.
• Inspect separators, treaters, tanks, compressors, and production equipment.
• Record production data and maintain accurate field reports.
• Identify and respond to production issues and equipment failures.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
• Communicate effectively with production foremen, field supervisors, and support personnel.
