Job summary

Permian Resources is seeking a Night Lease Operator in San Angelo, TX for a 14-on / 14-off schedule. You will oversee daily oil and gas well testing, operating and maintaining process equipment, identifying problems, documenting data and providing production reports.

The ideal candidate has strong technical and communication skills and can contribute on a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. A safety-focused mindset is essential as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Preferred 2+ years of applicable job/industry experience in oil and gas.
• Strong commitment to safety and environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Gauge production and perform operational checks on wells and facilities.
• Perform lease maintenance and minor production repairs; maintain a clean working environment.
• Maintain heater, separator and other pressure vessels to company standards.
• Maintain fluid pumps and report daily production data including well pressures.
• Collaborate with engineers, foremen and others concerning wells and lease activities.
• Perform work in a manner that ensures safe and environmentally compliant operation of wells and leases.
• Adhere to all safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
