Job summary

ConocoPhillips seeks a Night Shift Lease Operator (Multi-Skill Operator) to perform field operations across wells and facilities in the Midland, TX area, troubleshooting equipment and ensuring safe, reliable production. You will monitor production, inspect equipment, update procedures, and participate in safety reviews; this is a field-based position with 12-hour night shifts and a 7-on/7-off rotation.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 1+ years’ experience in mechanical maintenance, equipment operation, or inspection.
• Able to meet the physical demands and work environment requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily field operations across assigned wells and facilities in the Midland, TX area, monitoring equipment and production performance to ensure safe, reliable flow and timely response to operational needs.
• Inspect tanks, meters, separators, compressors, and pipelines to identify and prevent leaks or operational issues.
• Gauge tanks to measure crude oil and water levels for safe and efficient transfers.
• Operate and troubleshoot compressors, gas lift wells, sand traps, and flowback equipment.
• Maintain chemical injection rates and execute well start-up/shut-in procedures.
• Enter and validate production data in digital systems to support accurate reporting and decision-making.
• Respond to alarms and fulfill on-call duties to minimize downtime and resolve field issues.
