Job summary

Insomnia Cookies in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Shift Leader to captain our bakery during day or night shifts. You will oversee flow, supervise team, bake, take orders, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least 1 year in customer service, strong communication, and leadership. You’ll mentor the Cookie Crew, manage cash deposits, and uphold safety standards while helping the store to Own the Night.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a customer service role.
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States; 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and quality products to guests in our bakery.
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, sharing information, monitoring production, and coaching team members.
• Prioritize tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew.
• Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew.
• Provide a safe, clean working environment and adhere to safe food handling practices.
• Manage cash handling and deposits and other assigned duties.
