Direct Mail Solutions is seeking a Laser Operator for our Richmond, VA production team. You will set up and run continuous printers, monitor outputs, and troubleshoot issues to maintain quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with continuous printers preferred.
• Print or production industry experience strongly preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn production software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Tenacious attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and identify corrective actions.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning in a team.
• Able to work in fast-paced production environment and meet deadlines.
• Willing and able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate continuous printers to complete production jobs accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor laser printers during production and identify issues that could impact quality or output.
• Take corrective action to resolve equipment or production issues and minimize downtime.
• Follow job specifications and procedures to ensure high-quality output.
• Perform regular checks to ensure jobs run properly and meet standards.
• Communicate production needs and status with team and supervisors.
• Support other areas to maximize department productivity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Be flexible for overtime to meet production goals.
