Job summary

Direct Mail Solutions, a Richmond, VA-based mail and logistics company, is seeking a Production Associate to join our fast-paced team. This full-time, entry-level position offers on-site training and opportunities to learn the mail production process while growing with the company.

You will read instructions, sort mail, assist operators, and maintain a clean and safe work area. Overtime may be required to meet production demands and deadlines.

Qualifications

• No previous production experience required; entry-level opportunity to learn and develop new skills.
• Willingness to learn, eager to succeed, and able to follow instructions carefully.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain quality and accuracy in production.
• Strong organizational skills to stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; dependability and flexibility for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow instructions on job jackets to ensure work is completed accurately.
• Catch, sort, and tray mail as it comes down the conveyor belt with accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide support to Lettershop Operators during shifts to keep production moving smoothly.
• Follow all quality standards and procedures to ensure a safe, productive work environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area; contribute to team success.
• Communicate effectively with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
• Be flexible and available for overtime as needed to support production demands.
