As a Production Supervisor in the SeaRay lamination team, you will oversee production employees, assign work, and drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals while supporting new model launches and cross-functional coordination.

You will mentor frontline staff, conduct safety audits, and lead continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring effective communication and adherence to company values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Prior leadership or mentoring experience.
• Knowledge of safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to analyze data and understand metrics and systems.
• Strong written, oral and listening communication skills.
• Experience resolving conflicts with others and between others.
• Ability to work with confidential information and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Desire to become certified Green Belt.
• Desire for continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Own the four main metrics (safety, quality, delivery, productivity) and implement action plans.
• Spend time on the shop floor supervising daily production and on administrative tasks.
• Lead continuous improvement using tools like 5S, root cause analysis, and line balancing.
• Coordinate training, standard work adoption, and process alignment for new models.
• Manage staffing needs and interview for open roles; ensure safety and compliance.
