Job summary

Brunswick Boat Group is seeking a production supervisor for the Sea Ray lamination team in Tellico, TN. You will supervise production employees, drive safety, quality, and delivery goals, and coordinate training to launch new models from a sister plant.

You will work to improve methods, equipment, and procedures, while coordinating with EH&S and manufacturing leadership to meet targets and keep operations aligned with cost goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience required.
• Prior leadership or mentoring experience required.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices required.
• Ability to analyze data and understand metrics and systems.
• Strong communication skills in writing and speaking.
• Experience resolving conflict with others.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Desire and ability to become a Certified Green Belt.
• Desire for continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Own safety metrics and drive action plans to close gaps.
• Spend about 75% on the floor supervising daily production; 25% on admin tasks.

• Communicate professionally with employees at all levels.
• Utilize MS Office, Shop Floor Manager, and OBMS for daily tasks.
• Oversee a line/area with front line employees and Leads; plan staffing.
• Ensure safety compliance; conduct safety audits and incident reports.
• Lead root cause analysis with Quality on defects and warranty issues.
• Drive Continuous Improvement with 5S, Andon, Line Balancing, DMAIC.
• Manage costs, scheduling, and inventory control.
