Job summary

Antech Diagnostics in Colorado is seeking a Laboratory Generalist 1 to support sample handling, instrument prep, and result delivery in a fast-paced clinical laboratory. The role involves receiving and preparing specimens, operating and maintaining analyzers, and ensuring QA across processes.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential. Evening/night shifts and weekend coverage are required.

Qualifications

• Laboratory skills and experience.
• General science background.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication of information to others.
• PC skills including typing and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Receives and prepares samples for laboratory analysis or sends out tests.
• Performs startup and maintenance on analyzers.
• Conducts quality control per QA guidelines.
• Train in all areas according to SOPs.
• Enter and release results.
• Participates in improving lab efficiency and quality.
• Participate in all departmental training programs.
• Reconcile pending list.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
