Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology, OR a Bachelor's degree in chemical or biological science with MLS or categorical certification.
• Certification (MLS or categorical) OR a certificate of completion/attestation on school letterhead documenting completion of any categorical(s).
• Foreign educated candidates must provide credential evaluation for review.

Responsibilities

• Assist with department compliance with CLIA '88, JCAHO, CAP, OSHA requirements.
• Process and handle specimens; collect/receive samples as needed.
• Perform testing according to established policies and procedures.
• Serve as a department resource for problem solving and regulatory requirements.
