Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology.
• CLIA qualifications or equivalent training per 42CFR493.1489.
• Phlebotomy competency where applicable.
• Maintain certification if working in NV or CA.
• Foreign educated candidates require credential evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Performs waived and non-waived tests as defined by CLIA '88.
• Assists with department compliance with accrediting agencies.
• Collect, receipt, and process biological specimens.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
