Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• Current RN registration with Maryland Board of Nursing.
• Healthcare Provider CPR biennial.
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) required upon hire.
• One year RN experience required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with nursing process and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications and IV therapy.
• Coordinate patient care with family and health team.
• Document status and plan in medical record; communicate with physicians and nurses.
• Delegate tasks to ancillary staff and ensure patient safety.
• Provide patient and family teaching and discharge planning.
