GBMC HealthCare in Towson, MD seeks a Registered Nurse with an Associate Degree in Nursing for direct patient care under supervision. Two years RN experience in the specialty area or eligible LPN with director approval is required, along with current Maryland RN license and BLS certification.

Additional specialty certifications (ALS, PALS, NRP) may be required on hire. The role emphasizes nursing process, planning, coordination, and education for patients and families.

Qualificações

• Associate Degree from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Two year Registered Nurse experience required in the specific specialty area or LPN experience at GBMC with director approval.
• Current registration with the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses as a Registered Nurse.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification from an affiliated American Heart Association training site.
• Additional Certifications (i.e. ALS, PALS, NRP) are required upon hire for specialty areas.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct patient care under general supervision.
• Utilizes Nursing Process: Assessment, Planning, Implementation, Patient Care Coordination, Teaching and Quality Improvement, Professional Excellence Model.
• Manages daily patient assignment and coordinates with health team members.
• Documents and communicates patient status and plan of care to physicians and care team.
• Demonstrates teaching to patients and families, and participates in quality improvement activities.
