GBMC HealthCare in Towson, MD seeks a registered nurse to provide direct patient care under general supervision. The role requires an associate degree in nursing and a current Maryland RN license, with CPR certification and 1 year of RN experience preferred.

Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) may be required upon hire. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, planning and coordinating care, administering medications and IV therapy, and communicating with the care team.

Formación

• Must hold a current RN license in Maryland.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• One year of Registered Nurse experience required.
• CPR certification is required; ACLS/PALS/NRP or other certifications may be required on hire.

Responsabilidades

• Utilizes Nursing Process to assess and diagnose patient needs.
• Plan, implement, and coordinate patient care with the health team.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate patient status and plans with physicians, nurses and other health professionals.
• Provide patient and family teaching and education.
• Coordinate daily patient assignments and discharge planning.
