Job summary

GBMC HealthCare in Towson, MD is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care under general supervision. The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing and an active Maryland RN license, with CPR and potential specialty certifications on hire. One year of RN experience is expected.

The nurse will utilize the nursing process, administer medications and therapies, document patient status, and coordinate care with the healthcare team, patients, and families.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current Maryland RN license or eligibility.
• CPR certification; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required for specialty areas.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient activities with care team and family.
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments accurately.
• Document patient status and plan of care in the medical record.
• Provide patient education and discharge planning.
