Job summary

Pride Health is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to provide compassionate care during labor, delivery, and postpartum. You will assess patients, develop care plans, monitor maternal and fetal status, and collaborate with physicians and the care team in a fast-paced maternity environment.

Requirements include active Michigan RN license, BLS, ACLS, and graduation from an accredited nursing program. The shift is 12 hours at night, with a local pay range of $64–$67 per hour and traveler

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Active Michigan RN license.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• 13-week contract position.
• Shift is 12 hours nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM).
• Location: West Bloomfield, MI 48322.
• Pay ranges: Local $64–$67/hr; Traveler $2,650–$2,700/wk.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Assess maternal and fetal conditions and develop appropriate nursing care plans.
• Monitor fetal heart rate, maternal vital signs, and labor progression.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Provide patient and family education and emotional support throughout childbirth.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
• Delegate and supervise patient care while ensuring safe outcomes.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
• Identify variances from patient goals and participate in implementing solutions.
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and professional nursing standards.
