Job summary

Johns Hopkins Intrastaff seeks a Night Shift Specialty Nurse at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC. Requires DC license, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and prior Labor and Delivery or Postpartum experience; C-EFM preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in Maryland or a compact state.
• CPR certification required.
• At least 2 years of Labor and Delivery or Postpartum nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and coordinate programs involving inpatients, outpatients, families and staff with evidence-based care.
• Provide direction to team members to promote quality, safety and excellence in care.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team to support program initiatives and patient outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives in clinical, financial or operational areas.
• Initiate and participate in specialty-relevant research activities.
• Implement specialty-area initiatives as directed by leadership.
• Foster a clinical environment focused on service excellence.
