Job summary

A healthcare institution in Washington DC is seeking a Clinical Nurse (RN) for a per diem role in the Labor & Delivery department. The position requires a strong background in bedside nursing, particularly in Labor & Delivery, and adherence to patient care protocols. Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of bedside RN experience in a Labor & Delivery setting.
• Current, active RN license in the District of Columbia.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and develop care plans for patients.
• Monitor electronic fetal monitoring strips.
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
