Job summary

Vestcom is seeking a Label Machine Operator for the front end night shift. The role operates label machines, minimizes waste, and logs materials using the ERP system to meet daily production goals.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience, with strong mechanical skills and safety compliance as core values. The position is full-time, with night shift hours and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical skills to analyze and operate label machine equipment.
• One to two years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to embody Vestcom’s core values and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operates the label machines properly and efficiently to meet production deadlines.
• Minimize waste or misuse of raw materials.
• Communicates label production issues with the Production Supervisor and/or Facility Manager.
• Keeps accurate log of raw materials used in production of labels and logs date/ID for FIFO.
• Uses ERP system to log time and materials for each job.
• Maintains dies and keeps work area clean, safe, and compliant with PPE and safety policies.
• Stands 2/3 to full time on shift daily and may work overtime or another shift as needed.
