Job summary

Vestcom is seeking a Back End Night Shift operator to run label machines and support production from Wed 10:30pm–7:00am and Thu–Sat 8:00pm–7:30am. The role emphasizes meeting deadlines, minimizing waste, and accurate material logging within a safe, compliant environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of related experience, and strong mechanical skills. Overtime and shift flexibility may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Strong mechanical skills to operate label machine equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operates the label machines properly and efficiently to meet production deadlines.
• Minimizes waste or misuse of raw materials.
• Communicates label production issues with the Production Supervisor and/or Facility Manager.
• Performs distribution functions as needed.
• Keeps accurate logs of raw materials used and maintains FIFO inventory.
• Uses ERP system to log time and materials for each job.
• Responsible for maintenance of all dies.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area and follows safety rules.
