Vestcom is a manufacturing leader in tech-enabled shelf-edge pricing, seeking a dependable label machine operator for the 2nd shift in Kansas. You will run high-speed label equipment, meet daily production schedules, and help ensure product quality across all labels.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of related experience, and strong mechanical skills. Knowledge of ERP systems, safety compliance, and teamwork is essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years related experience and/or training.
• Strong mechanical skills to analyze and operate label machine equipment.
• Ability to embody Vestcom's core values.

Responsibilities

• Operates the label machines properly and efficiently to meet production deadlines.
• Minimize waste or misuse of raw materials.
• Communicates label production issues with the Production Supervisor and/or Facility Manager.
• Performs distribution functions as needed.
• Keeps accurate log of raw materials used in production; logs date and carton IDs.
• Uses ERP system to log time and materials for each job.
• Responsible for maintenance of all dies.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area; follows PPE and safety rules.
• May work overtime or on another shift as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Regular attendance is essential.
• Complies with drug-free workplace policies and safety policies.
