Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a label machine operator for night shifts Sun–Tue 7PM–6:30AM and Wed 6:30PM–3:00AM at our Charlotte facility. The role offers $20/hour with a night shift differential and requires a high school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities include operating label machines, minimizing material waste, maintaining logs for FIFO inventory, and using the ERP system to log time and materials. Overtime on other shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Strong mechanical skills to analyze and operate label machine equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operates the label machines properly and efficiently to meet production deadlines.
• Minimize waste or misuse of raw materials.
• Communicates label production issues with the Production Supervisor and/or Facility Manager.
• Keeps accurate log of raw materials used in production and logs date/ID for FIFO inventory.
• Uses ERP system to log time and materials for each job.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and follows safety rules and PPE requirements.
• May be required to work overtime or on another shift as needed.
