Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Label Machine Operator for the Back End, 1st shift, with a Wednesday 9:30a–6p schedule and Thursday–Saturday 8:00a–7:30p. You will operate label machines, monitor quality, and ensure timely production.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of related experience, and strong mechanical skills to diagnose and run equipment. Benefits include health, 401(k), PTO, and more as part of a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Strong mechanical skills to analyze and operate label machine equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operates label machines to meet production deadlines per the daily schedule.
• Minimizes waste and safeguards raw materials usage.
• Communicates label production issues with supervisor/manager.
• Keeps logs of materials used and maintains FIFO inventory records.
• Uses ERP to log time and materials for each job.
• Maintains dies and keeps a clean, safe work area abiding by PPE and safety rules.
• May work overtime or on another shift as needed.
• Stands 2/3 to full shift daily; capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
