Job summary

Labcorp in St. Paul, MN is seeking a Technologist Trainee to join the overnight team (Thu–Sun, 9:00 pm–7:30 am). You will receive specimens, perform extractions and analyses, and help ensure accurate reports with proper documentation.

New grads welcome; full training provided. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; ASCP/AMT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred; prior Labcorp experience 3+ months is an asset.
• Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Receive specimens for testing and evaluate orders, maintaining turnaround times.
• Adhere to SOPs during extractions and analysis on client samples and controls.
• Prepare reagents and standard solutions per SOP; calibrate and maintain instruments.
• Evaluate data, identify errors, and generate final reports with GDP-compliant documentation.
• Maintain logs, QC records, and worksheets; perform routine maintenance as needed.
