Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a Technologist Trainee in Phoenix, AZ to join our laboratory team. The role involves handling specimens, operating analytical instruments, and ensuring quality control under supervision. New graduates are welcome and will receive comprehensive training.

The schedule is Tue–Sat 2pm-10:30pm with potential overtime and shift differential; familiarity with LIS and lab instrumentation is preferred. Labcorp offers a comprehensive benefits package and career development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
ASCP or AMT certification preferred.
New Grads Welcome – Full Training Provided.

Responsibilities

Receive specimens for testing and prioritize work to maintain turnaround times.
Operate Hamilton/Nimbus automation, immunoassay analyzers, LCMS, and cloud-based data review.
Adhere to SOPs and perform extractions/analyses on client samples and controls.
Maintain, calibrate and clean instrumentation; perform routine maintenance and checks.
Follow quality control rules and document logs and results.
Evaluate data for accuracy and interpret results to final reports.
