Actalent in Des Moines, IA, is seeking an Overnight Lab Technician to support high-volume analytical testing in a production lab. The role emphasizes sample preparation, analysis, and strict adherence to quality, regulatory, and safety standards, including HPLC, in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds a related scientific degree or substantial lab experience and can work the third shift (12:00 a.m.–8:30 a.m.).

Qualificações

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology or related field preferred.
• High School diploma acceptable with relevant lab experience.
• Experience in a production lab or high-throughput testing is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Follow Quality System documents, SOPs and analytical methods.
• Adhere to ISO/IEC, cGMP, GLP requirements and internal quality standards.
• Maintain clean, safe and organized lab environment.
• Demonstrate proficiency in at least one core analytical method and perform at least one other method with limited supervision.
• Operate basic lab equipment safely and accurately.
• Prepare batches of samples for weighing and analysis.
• Weigh samples according to method and quality requirements.
• Perform timely analysis to meet customer turnaround times.
• Prepare samples using wet chemistry or relevant techniques.
• Use analytical methods including HPLC and other instruments.
• Record data accurately and in compliance with quality standards.
• Support QC/QA activities by following procedures and documenting work.
• Collaborate to manage high sample volumes across multiple labs.
• Report equipment or material issues to keep supplies ready.
