Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking Proximate I or Prox II technicians for the 3rd shift in Des Moines, IA. You will follow Quality System documents and perform core lab analyses to meet customer commitments.

The role requires strong communication, organizational and analytical skills, a Bachelor or Associate degree or 1+ years' experience, and the ability to work with minimal supervision within ISO/IEC 17025 and cGMP/GLP frameworks. Shift options include Tue-Sat or Sun-Thu.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow Quality System documents.
• Adhere to ISO/IEC 17025, cGMP, GLP, and company requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Demonstrate proficiency in core method and work with limited supervision.
• Operate basic lab equipment within department.
• Set up batches of samples for weighing and analysis.
• Record data accurately and maintain logs.
• Identify need for rechecks and communicate results.
• Maintain glassware and prepare solutions.
• Report methodological difficulties with proposed solutions.
• Maintain cooperative working relationships and promote the company image.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
