Zusammenfassung

Actalent is seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Technician for the night shift at a large specialty chemicals facility in High Point, NC. You will perform routine and non-routine QC testing on production materials using GC, HPLC, DSC, TGA, and rheology, ensuring compliance with GMP/GLP/ISO standards.

This contract-to-hire role offers hands-on instrumentation exposure, mentorship, and opportunities to advance within Quality, R&D, or Technical Services in a stable manufacturing environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline.
• 1–3 years of laboratory experience in industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Experience performing chemical analyses and testing.
• Familiarity with analytical instrumentation and lab procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine and non-routine quality control testing on production materials.
• Analyze samples using laboratory techniques and instrumentation including GC, HPLC, DSC, TGA, rheology, and wet chemistry methods.
• Conduct pH, viscosity, physical property, and chemical composition testing to verify product specifications.
• Record and review analytical results using laboratory documentation systems and batch records.
• Enter testing data into LIMS and maintain accurate laboratory records.
• Support production by providing timely and accurate quality feedback.
• Troubleshoot basic laboratory equipment and analytical issues.
• Follow GMP, GLP, SOP, and ISO quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant laboratory environment.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and technical teams to investigate and resolve quality-related issues.
