Pace Analytical in Asheville, NC is seeking a lab support technician to assist with sample preparation, processing and data entry in a fast-paced environment.

You will stock supplies, support analytical testing, maintain logs and databases, and ensure compliance with safety and quality policies. The role requires a high school diploma and interest in lab work; night shift 11pm–8am; full-time with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in related work is preferred.
• One year of experience in a lab or environmental setting is preferred.
• Continued employment requires maintaining licenses and certificates.

Responsibilities

• Prepares lab for daily operations, stocking materials and maintaining cleanliness.
• Supports analytical testing through sample preparation and documenting results.
• Picks up, transports and maintains samples, documents and materials as needed.
• Disposes of laboratory materials following established guidelines.
• Maintains logs, documents and databases related to lab activities.
• Supports staff with lab policies and program practices.
• Assists with researching issues and recommending process improvements.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Contributes to efficient service delivery and teamwork.
