Job summary

Lighthouse Lab Services in Florida is seeking an experienced Laboratory Supervisor for Clinical Chemistry and Serology to lead nightly operations in a high-volume reference lab.

The role requires hands-on bench support when needed, staff leadership, and accountability for quality, workflow, and turnaround times. On-site schedule Tuesday–Friday nights and periodic Saturday work is part of the mix.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in medical lab/science field.
• Active Florida Supervisor license in Clinical Chemistry and Serology.
• ASCP, AAB, or AMT certification required.
• 6–8 years of MT/Lab Supervisor experience.
• Experience in high-volume reference lab and renal testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nightly operations in chemistry and serology.
• Monitor workflow from processing to final reporting.
• Ensure accurate testing with turnaround targets.
• Develop staffing plans and bench coverage.
• Coach and develop lab teammates.
• Maintain QA and regulatory compliance.
