• Plans work to maximize productivity and cost-efficiency.
• Assesses competency of team members and conducts evaluations.
• Reports test results promptly according to lab protocols.
• Develops training materials and competency tools; keeps documentation updated.
• Establishes policies and procedures for testing in defined lab sections.
• Defines analytic accuracy, precision, sensitivity, and reference ranges; oversees QC and maintenance.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and staff development.
• Performs or assists with testing of specimens per established protocols.
