Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university.
• 4 years of relevant clinical laboratory experience as MLT/MLS/MT or supervisor/manager.
• MLT/MLS/MT certification (ASCP) or registered as such by a recognized body.

Responsibilities

• Interface with vendors to gather information, negotiate prices, and resolve service concerns.
• Maintain accreditation standards for appropriate accrediting agencies and peer reviews.
• Establish and monitor section goals aligned with hospital objectives.
• Demonstrate leadership and participate in Laboratory Management Team activities.
• Hire, coach, and evaluate section personnel and ensure cross-training.
